Location

Shu-Te University is located at the center of Shenshui University Town, in Yancho, Kaohsiung County. It is neighbored by four other universities: National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, National Kaohsiung University of Applied Science, National Kaohsiung Normal University, and I-Shou University. The University resides closely by 2 freeways and Ci-Nan highway, and it is on the way to many Kaohsiung-Pingtong nature attractions.

Transportation

【Driving】

Coming from north of Gangshan, Tainan, and taking National Highway 1: Please take “Nanzi & Cishan” Exit. Drive along Provincial highway 22 heading toward Cishan, and the university is within reach of 10 minutes.

Taking National Highway 3 and 10:

Coming from north of Ganshan, Tainan: Head south and drive pass Jhongliao tunnel. Stay on the right lane. Turn right on to National highway 10 and head toward Kaohsiung. Take “Yanchao” Exit to leave the highway. The university can be reached within 3 minutes.

Coming from south of Pingtung: Head north and drive pass Cable Stayed Bridge. Stay on the right lane. Turn right on to National highway 10 and head toward Kaohsiung. Take “Yanchao” Exit to leave the highway. The university can be reached within 3 minutes.

Coming from Cishan, Meinong: Take National highway 10 and head toward Cishan. Take “Yanchao” Exit to leave the highway. The university can be reached within 3 minutes.

Coming from Kaohsiung: Take National highway 10 and head toward Cishan. Take “Yanchao” Exit to leave the highway. The university can be reached within 3 minutes.

【Short Distance Bus Route】

Kaohsiung Shuttle Bus - Nanzi Station: The station is located near Nanzi Train Station. Take any bus heading to Cishan, Meinong, Liouguei, Jiasian, Taoyuan, or Baolai (pass by Shenshiu). The bus wait is roughly 10~20 minutes. The university can be reached within 15 minutes.

Kaohsiung Shuttle Bus - Kaohsiung Train Station: The station is located at Kaohsiung Train Station and next to Kuo-Kuang Shuttle Bus Station. Take any bus heading to Cishan, Meinong, Liouguei, Jiasian, Taoyuan, or Baolai (pass by Shenshui). (Do not take any bus which does not pass Nanzi.) The bus wait is roughly 10~20 minutes. The university can be reached roughly 50~60 minutes.

【Train】

Exit at Nanzi Train Station: Turn right at the intersection in front of the train station. Go to Nanzi station of Kaohsiung Shuttle Bus. Take the shuttle bus to reach the university.

Exit at Kaohsiung Train Station: Take Kaohsiung Shuttle Bus near by Kuo-Kuang Shuttle Bus Station to reach the university, or take the train to Nanzi Train Station.

Long Distance Bus and Transfer

Exit at Nanzi Interchange: Take taxi to reach the university. It takes roughly 10~15 minutes and cost about 150 NTD.

Exit near by Kaohsiung Train Station: Take Kaohsiung Shuttle Bus near by Kuo-Kuang Shuttle Bus Station to reach the university, or take the train to Nanzi Train Station.

【Airplane】

Please take Kaohsiung Red-line 301, Green-line Airport Express or any bus that reaches Kaohsiung Train Station. Take Kaohsiung Shuttle Bus to reach the university, or take the train to Nanzi Train Station.
